Use Of AI at ARROW

Candidate Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

At Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group, we recognize that artificial intelligence (AI) tools are becoming more common throughout the job search and recruitment process. While these tools can be helpful for organizing ideas, improving writing, and preparing for interviews, we expect all candidates to use them responsibly and ethically.

Our hiring process is designed to help us understand your experience, technical abilities, communication skills, and problem-solving approach. We want to hear your perspective and evaluate your qualifications based on authentic interactions and accurate information.

The following guidelines outline our expectations regarding the use of AI throughout the recruitment process.

Our Expectations

Use AI as a Support Tool

AI may assist with grammar, formatting, or preparation, but all application materials and interview responses must reflect your own experience and abilities.

Be Honest and Authentic

We value genuine communication and expect candidates to accurately represent their experience, skills, and qualifications throughout the hiring process.

Maintain Professional Integrity

We expect candidates to approach interviews and assessments with professionalism and transparency. Any unauthorized use of AI during evaluations, technical exercises, or live interviews may be considered a breach of our recruitment standards.

Guidance Throughout the Hiring Process

Application Materials

AI may assist with proofreading or formatting, but all resumes, cover letters, and application responses must reflect your own experience and qualifications.

Interview Preparation

Candidates may use AI tools for interview preparation and company research, but interview responses must come directly from the candidate and reflect your own understanding and experience.

Interviews and Assessments

Whether interviews are conducted virtually or in person, we expect candidates to complete all discussions, technical exercises, and assessments independently unless otherwise communicated by our recruitment team.

The use of AI tools to generate real-time interview responses, solve assessments, write code, or answer technical questions during evaluations is not permitted.

Technical Exercises and Case Studies

For technical assessments or practical evaluations, candidates should complete the work using their own skills and judgment unless specific tools or resources have been approved as part of the exercise instructions.

Unauthorized use of AI-generated solutions, code, or analysis may disqualify a candidate from consideration.

How We Use AI at Arrow
