At Arrow Engineered Products (AEP), progress is driven by coordinated teamwork and a focus on operational excellence. Across our facilities, from Stratford to Cambridge South, teams are managing tight timelines, expanding nuclear fabrication capabilities, completing complex CNC bending and welding projects, and implementing ongoing process improvements.
The strength of AEP’s operations comes from consistent communication, cross-functional alignment, and a shared commitment to meeting project requirements effectively.
We spoke with team members from two of our facilities to gather their perspectives on this year’s work and what they anticipate for 2026.
Team Member Spotlight: Valon, Shop Supervisor, AEP Cambridge South
What moment this year really showed the strength of your team?
“One example from this year that really showed how our team came together was during all the major changes we went through. We had some significant shifts in how the operation was structured, and those changes brought challenges and a lot of emotions, but the team really stepped up. We supported each other, stayed focused, and proved that we can still get the work done and move forward together. It was a strong team effort from everyone.”
What makes the Cambridge South team unique?
“At first it felt similar to other places, but over time, the way the team stepped up really stood out. Because we’re a small crew, it has a big impact when someone is off, but everyone jumps in to help, cover for each other, and make sure the work keeps moving. That level of teamwork and willingness to help one another is what makes this place different.”
What challenge from this year are you most proud your team overcame?
“One of the major challenges we overcame this year was managing a high number of projects with very tight deadlines. We were short-staffed at times, and, as with manufacturing, we had a machine breakdown that made things even more difficult. The team really stepped up — people offered overtime, took on tasks outside their usual roles, and worked together to get everything back on track.”
What are you most excited about heading into 2026?
“Moving into 2026, I’m most excited to see more organization and structure within our processes, especially with the new plans being put in place. I’m excited to see the improvements and integration we are making from quoting, to scheduling and operations, which will allow production to run much smoother and make our work on the floor easier. We’ve faced a lot of challenges this year with organization and tight deadlines, so I’m looking forward to the positive changes ahead and hoping they lead us to even bigger achievements.”
What would attract a new hire to Arrow?
“One key incentive I would share with a potential hire about joining the Arrow team is the strong sense of support and teamwork. It’s a great place for anyone who wants to grow their career, with real potential to move up within the organization. Arrow is a place where you can develop your skills, be heard, and feel confident that your work truly matters.”

What excites you most about the year ahead?
“More opportunities in nuclear fabrication and expanding our product base.”
What is one key insight you would share with a potential hire?
“I personally would say everyone comes to work as equals.”
Closing Thoughts
Across the organization, a consistent pattern is evident: teams are aligning effectively, sharing information, and adapting to operational demands. Whether it’s Stratford spearheading AEP’s N285 nuclear fabrication work, or Cambridge South managing tight timelines and complex architectural projects, or Cambridge North, our centre of excellence for custom machining and fabrication, each facility demonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork, quality and continuous improvement.
As AEP moves into 2026, the focus remains on advancing capabilities, strengthening processes, and supporting ongoing growth across all operations.
